Ramnarayan is surprised to see clouds forming the shape of om when he holds Lokenath in his arms. He realises that Kamala has given birth to a child with superhuman abilities. Meanwhile, Roy's aunt asks him to adopt a boy child as he is without an heir. However, his sister fumes after hearing this as she had hoped that her son will get to be the next zamindar. The next day, Gurudev visits Ramnarayan and expresses his wish to see Lokenath. When he sees the baby, he bows down in reverence.
